Verdict Released in Micheal Brown/Darren Wilson shooting.

Yeah, I was admittedly limiting my scope to western nations under rule of law to some extent...

Lots of gang activity in Columbia as well... though they're usually just executed when caught instead of locked up, or just never caught because they own the police. Skews the numbers a bit.

I'll go back and state my expiernece with the courts. Its System to keep you in the system. Probation is 1 foot in and parole is 1 foot out but either way you will be stuck. They love sucking the life out of people.

Lets us not forget that 30% of U.S prison population are illegals.

I was expecting as much. What you have here is an extreme right wing propoganda group with a list of uncited "facts" - not exactly a reliable source of information. As soon as I saw it, I thought, "This looks like one of those dubious emails that gets passed around!" Most of the time these "facts" are blatant misointerpretations of actual figures, so if you dig long enough, you can see the trail of bullshit; how A came to be B, etc.

I've quoted this excerpt from FactCheck.org. If you are not familiar, it is a non-partisan group based out of the University of Pennsylvania (yes, the Ivy League one) that cuts through all the political distortions on both sides, finding just the facts. The team is always composed of people of various ideological backgrounds, to avoid bias confirmation. They've won many journalistic awards and have called out politicians of all stripes equally. In fact, they've been so successful that the Washington Post has copied the model, with their own bipartisan fact checking team and "truth-o-meter."

So I think I'll take their word for it over some random website with no citations:
7. "30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens."

Both of these claims can be traced back to that same April 1, 2006, episode of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" on CNN, in the same segment, with the same correspondent, Christine Romans. But the e-mail misrepresents what Romans said. She gave figures for people who are "not U.S. citizens," a category that would include legal residents as well as "illegal aliens."

Romans said that "according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, 30 percent of federal prisoners are not U.S. citizens," adding that "most are thought to be illegal aliens." Actually, the Federal Bureau of Prisons does not keep figures on illegal immigrants. What solid numbers we can find point to a much smaller figure. A Department of Justice report from 2003 found that only 1.6 percent of the state and federal prison populations was under Immigration and Customs Enforcement jurisdiction, and thus known to be illegal immigrants. Half of these prisoners were detained only because they were here illegally, not for other crimes.

The Bureau of Prisons does track prisoners by offense when information is available. By that metric, 10.7 percent of prisoners in federal jails were incarcerated for immigration offenses in 2009. In 2006, when Romans gave her report, the figure was 10.2 percent.

The "$3 million dollar a day" figure is based on the false assumption that 30 percent of all inmates are illegal immigrants, and thus is greatly inflated.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), in an article entitled "Criminal Aliens" on its website (accessed July 10, 2007), offered the following:

"The criminal alien problem is growing. Criminal aliens--non-citizens who commit crimes--are a growing threat to public safety and national security, as well as a drain on our scarce criminal justice resources. In 1980, our federal and state prisons housed fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. By the end of 1999, these same prisons housed over 68,000 criminal aliens. Today, criminal aliens account for over 29 percent of prisoners in Federal Bureau of Prisons facilities and a higher share of all federal prison inmates. These prisoners represent the fastest growing segment of the federal prison population.

Over the past five years, an average of more than 72,000 aliens have been arrested annually on drug charges alone. New issue paper... Among the alien federal prisoners, over half (55 percent) were illegally in the United States at the time of their conviction. Administering justice to criminal aliens costs the taxpayer dearly. Incarceration of criminal aliens cost an estimated $624 million to state prisons (1999) and $891 million to federal prisons (2002), according to the most recent available figure from the Bureau of Justice Statistics."

I like you mentioning far right. What you want me to cry about the Constitution? Lmfao.

I had to change my words to "undocumented" so non of those bible belting gun toting bigot raciest conspiracy theorist websites would pop up :dm:

I think the years of meth have fried your brain Mikey Mouse.

Yeah like im going to read fatcheck! Hold on let me open another tab so I can keep listening to my Pitball tunes. LMFAO!

My mother is h.s principle....she has even stated that the influx of illegals in just her district is becoming a major burden. Social services are stretched to the max. But the thought of them receiving welfare is blown out of proportion. They find the idea of welfare INSULTING! and refuse such things.

With that in mind it makes me feel good. Plus they have strong family values especially El Salvadorians and Hondurans. Maybe they will save the country.

Fuck...could be a hell of alot worst. Just look at England Sweden Netherlands and France!
