^^While it's a "small" thing, I found it really disturbing when he ate human brain on national TV.

no he just speaks the truth, the fact that not all "muslim countries" have problems and that the problems are usually to do with the country not the religion, and he condoms the acts of the ideologistspeppermintpaddy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2017 5:21 amThat surprises me Jamie,i find him nothing but an apologist for those muslim murdereresJamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2017 12:57 pm

How does that work?
it is the middle path between condoning and condemning,
someone is going to get fucked but protection will be used.

Aren't we all a little "weird" as expats in SE Asia? But as for myself, how so? Genuinely curious.
All joking aside, if you're wondering why I'm speaking up on political threads now, America's geo-political influence hits very close to home to me, my family being mostly from Hiroshima. So for me it's personal, and Trump's move in Syria infuriated me as it's a hot button issue for me so I have very strong opinions on it, and I suppose that could lead to me going "samurai".
I am still me though, and if you bring up talk about bikes or need advice on motoring in Cambodia, you'll probably recognise me again.

ah, yes that explains your hitherto non political contributions.
that was my reference. never heard you express political sentiment before.

Yeah, you can't have your family's hometown leveled by a nuclear weapon and not have it affect them some.
For the record though, having lived in America, I like most Americans as they were very nice, very open, very generous and good at heart people for a large part of them. Of course most of them hadn't been involved in WW2 as neither was I, but most of the Americans I knew didn't hold generation grudges, unlike my family.
I've also met Donald Trump and think he's actually an alright guy. I think Washington is corrupt and a mess however, so my anger usually goes towards them in general.
