U.S takes on Iran

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

I'll take this bet at any odds you would like to lay down.
indeed
trump won't scurry from a fight where his face is nowhere near the danger
he's a bloviating narcissist
who'd probably rather see the world glow, than to be personally humiliated
send a couple of osama marines if you want wet pants
the groping is probably continuing for free

Iran's back is against the wall with crippling financial sanctions and keeps acting out like a spoiled child throwing tantrums and spitting the dummy. They have hijacked UK and Norweigin-flagged vessels with crews. The US hacked their computer system which disabled their ability to track vessels in the Gulf. Problem solved. Not a shot fired. Iran takes out one of Saudi's major oil installations. No retaliation from the US or Saudi. Iran kills American civilian contractors in Iraq. The US takes out their stronghold in Iraq. Iran attacks the US embassy in Baghdad and tries killing everyone in the embassy and burning the place to the ground. Only thing that saves them is a quick response by Trump. The US takes out Iran's top general who was responsible for coordinating the embassy attack and responsible for killing several hundred Americans previously. And Trump is the bully? I think you've been watching too much CNN and listening to too many Hollywood tweets.

President Trump was not President when Russia reclaimed crimea. The parts of Ukraine they invaded are Russian speaking. I am no big fan of Putin.
obama gave blankies and mre's.
Trump has supplied Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles.
These facts are readily available.
President Trump has aecured and spent going on $2.5 Trillion US dollars on the military. There has never been a more powerful military in history.
President Trump supports the people of Iran, the people of Hong Kong and wants North Korea to de-nuke and join the 21st century.
Wet his pants?
He stepped across the border into North Korea.
The noballs peace prize winner obama never even called Kim.
Turkey is a member of NATO...You know that group that the USA pays for that keeps germany and france safe from Putin.
President Trump does not want a war with iran.
If you would actually listen to his speeches and interviews you would know he is anti-war.
He is not going to get into a full scale conflict in an election year.
What impeachment?
There is no impeachment. If you knew how it works and what a sham the entire hoax has been you would not make such ludicrous statements.
President Trump is not going to play games or waste the lives of soldiers under his command.
He took office after obama had just handed billions over to iran to use to fund terrorism.
He crushed the ISIS caliphate.
Bush and obama and all the old democrats and idiots like john mccaine caused that mess. Not Trump!
President Trump wants to focus on the USA...
The border mess...opioid crisis...prescription drug prices...more jobs...more energy independence...better health care.
If you want to get your information from liars and scumbags it is up to you.
I had some wonderful Persian friends 40 years ago.
They had come to the USA to go to College and the Shah died. They could not go back.
Iran should be a vibrant and productive country..not a terrorist training ground bent on the annihilation of Israel and the USA.
These responses are one reason why I don't have expat friends.
You don't have a clue about President Trump and the people that voted for him.

The death of the Shah did not preclude them from returning to Iran. Come on fella, that's a little simplistic.

I don't wear a MAGA hat, and my view on Republican/Democrat politics is irrelevant. There are forces at play that are perhaps beyond all of us simpletons that are simply not in the know. There are some that would even allege that Blair faked the Iraq dossier to stay in power, and take the UK to a conflict in the Middle East. There are some that don't.

I highly doubt, for all their posturing, that Iran has the capability to "exact revenge", as claimed. But I do believe that the propaganda generated will!! Even today, a copycat London Bridge knifeman attack in Paris. Probably unrelated, but we will see what happens in the West over the next 6-12 months.

I stand corrected fella.
My friends could of returned home and been slaughtered like the thousands just slaughtered in the past few weeks for protesting the price of everything and bleak economy.
It is a very complicated matter.
I, like Trump, was against invading Iraq after 9/11.
I have studied Afghanistan's history and know it is a no win scenario. Two huge mistakes Trump inherited. You can toss North Korea on the pile.
bush fucked it up...obama made it worse.
The old clowns of both parties and the deep state have cost the USA thousands of lives 7-8 trillion dollars and almost 20 years later we have this mess.
I grew up loving an Aussie author named James Clavell.
He was my hero. I saw the movie King Rat before I read the book. But, then as I got older I read all of his books before they were tv series or movies.
TAIPAN..the beginning of.Hong Kong.
SHOGUN.. feudal Japan
GAI-JIN..post feudal Japan
THE NOBLE HOUSE..20th century Hong Kong..
WHIRLWIND...Iran.
ESCAPE...The Shah falls.
So interesting how this genius and wonderful story teller with personal experience and historical research would have new material to continue his sagas.
I just want to head home in 2 weeks and be with my beautiful Khmer wife and try and make her 2020 the best of her life and find some peace on this planet.
