Indeed. It must be difficult (impossible) to practice social distancing when you live in an overcrowded slum. It's not ok for foreigners to think that they are above the law, when the locals are paying the huge cost of staying at home and being out of work. Poor workers in India are dying because of this lockdown, so I don't have much sympathy for foreigners who want to party on like nothing is happening. Of course, this does not go down well with local people.
Yes, it's a bummer and your holiday is ruined, but suck it up and behave like adults. (Or it will end with sticks. The Indians don't fk around. )
