YouTuber eats raw meat dripping with blood outside Amsterdam vegan festival

A YouTuber filmed himself at a vegan festival in Amsterdam eating a raw slab of veal heart, in front of shocked revellers.

Simply known as “Sv3rige” online, the vlogger caused outrage when he pulled the meat out dripping in blood.

Alongside a camera man and a few friends, he shoved the uncooked red meat into his mouth as crowds passed by and stared.

In the 30 minute video, which has been viewed over 300,000 times, Sv3rige was seen chatting casually to curious onlookers about why he was doing it – but didn’t stop.

The “demonstration”, which lasted for an hour, was soon ended by local police who intervened and asked him leave.

They said several festival goers complained after witnessing his act and wanted him gone.

During the confrontation his female companion is heard saying: “He’s just eating it.”

I love me some meat, but if you take a step back, it's production is cruel, and extremely inefficient and environmentally detrimental. And "in nature" humans would probably eat far less of it than now, just look at isolated tribes, their diet is often mainly tubers.

To do this in front of that particular audience, is there a positive message, or is he just being a prick? I think probably the latter.

This is how i felt when i walked past the mosque in the outer suburbs of perth during prayer time with a carton of VB on my shoulder.

They usually can't keep it for themselves for 5 seconds.

Sure, and these isolated tribes are often malnourished and die young.
