The triumph of kindness

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

The triumph of kindness

Post by lagrange »

Jacinda Ardern, despite not fulfilling a single promise from the previous election, in fact failing to achieve anything politically for three years, has been re-elected in a landslide with the biggest majority of any party for 50 years. Media are calling the decimation of the opposition party 'a total bloodbath'. What did she do? She oversaw the complete eradication of the Covid virus, to the point where a crowd of around 40,000 attended the Nz / Aus rugby game in Wellington last week, no masks or social distancing required. What else? She is just so damn nice. Saint Jacinda has to be the most loved politician on the planet right now, exuding empathy, warmth, and love for fellow man, with a constant daily mantra of 'just be kind'. The leader the rest of the world wants, running a small country where the rest of the world wants to live. What can I say. I love the lady. Just wish she would actually do something useful..

Been no lockdowns for a while mate. NZ life is back to normal 100%. Yep a brief scare a few weeks ago but my mates in NZ told me it was no big deal, a few restrictions on bars and cafes in Auckland for a week or so then all over.
