Sorry, maybe I am being thick, but both reports say the jet was shot down by Syrians on a raid into Syria? Where is the spin? I am amazed that neither of these outstandingly accurate and unbiased news outlets have basically reported the same facts. I hate the BBC, lot of monarchist wankers aho gave up and serious investigative journalism years ago, but I am missing the point on this one

The BBC report heads it as the jet ' crashed or went down amid fire (drn), iow they were insinuating it went down, but probably not because the Syrians can shoot straight.
