Sony Insider Responsible For Hack, Not N Korea
Computer experts have been saying this from the beginning. The FBI don't know shit. BTW, I tried to watch 'The Interview' last night and fell asleep 1/2 way. It was so underwhelming, that I doubt I'll watch the other 1/2. xxxxxxxxxxxx "North-"Korea-NOT-Sony-hack-according-multiple-security-experts-discredit-FBI-findings-reveal-insider-named-Lena-responsible.html North Korea was NOT behind the Sony hack according to multiple security experts who discredit FBI findings and reveal that a studio insider named 'Lena' may be responsible
The FBI last week announced that they had discovered conclusive evidence proving the North Korean government was behind the Sony hack
President Obama then attacked the country for their behavior during a news conference, and informed them that the United States would retaliate
Now, the findings of the FBI are being called into question by many of the cybersecurity industry's leading experts
What's more, after an independent investigation, Norse has determined that they believe a woman named 'Lena' is responsible for the hack
Almost every expert stated that they believe the hack had to have been an inside job"

Quite an embarrassment for Obama, if true. I'd hate to be his head of cyber security who blamed North Korea.

Obama-Iben-Lying is an embarrassment.

Re: Sony Insider Responsible For Hack, Not N Korea
Independent journalist had his doubts:
http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/com ... 43201.html...So. Let me just put this one out there. Do you think it’s possible that the North Korean regime was not actually behind the cyber attack on Sony Pictures? Could it be that a teenage geek, from his bedroom in, say, Palo Alto, hacked into the Sony system, and the movie company was so embarrassed that it had to find someone to blame and who better than the bogey men from Pyongyang?
Could it even be a brilliantly orchestrated publicity campaign for The Interview, the spoof film that – allegedly – so angered Kim Jung-un? Or, maybe, Sony wanted the world to know that Angelina Jolie was not a superhero of world peace, but, in fact, was a “minimally talented spoiled brat”, or that George Clooney gets upset by bad reviews, just like everyone else.
Maybe I am a crazy conspiracy theorist. But I do think the questions are worth asking, because there’s something that doesn’t quite smell right about this story...

And would you have gone to see it if there hadn't been all this fuss/publicity ?Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:I just saw the movie. Wasn't too bad...
Brilliant marketing strategy - even if it was accidental.

Re: Sony Insider Responsible For Hack, Not N Korea
So now it seems that North Korea didn't hack into Sony and that Kim Jong Un isn't happy about being accused and called the US President a Monkey.
Now that’s a slipper slope if you ask me.

I've downloaded it, but I've seen about 3 Seth Rogan films this month, which weren't bad, but I'm just not sure I can handle listening to his whiney nasal voice for another 2 hours just yet.

I would have gone to see it anyways. To be honest, I always suspected it was a marketing ploy for the simple reason that Korean sleeper agents are all over south Korea, but are likely few and far between in the US. It definitely wasn't amazing, but it had several good moments. It was overall not bad I'd say. 6.5/10

I can normally stomach these Rogan/Franco comedies. This one was was indigestible. 3/10, burp. Abysmally written & directed. The acting was better. It was just bad.
