I enjoyed watching it. It was a political farce. A Dumb and Dummer style of entertainment. Depends on what your expectations are going to be.

I look forward to Seth Rogan's expose of that other notorious human rights abuser, Israel, over the Palestinian issue.

Oh, wait, that's different...

"The Interview" has made 9.6 million pounds ($13m ?) in the first few days. If I was the hacker I would ask for a percentage.
I mean, who cares if it's stupid  , it's a goldmine.

This will bring about the demise of cinemas. Movies straight to Google play/itunes/Netflix etc...

It was only a question of time and it started with "Video killed the Radio Star". (Please post if you have the clip.)

Eventually we will all have micro-chips implanted which will allow us to watch a film inside our head, any place, any time...

A "goldmine" ? Surely not. They'll be lucky to break even. Maybe a better chance than with theater release though. As far as it making theaters obsolete, that's been a given for years w/Netflix, high def, Dolby, & 60" tvs. They'll be a quaint niche market soon. It's a problem in the States for bars & restaurants. Home entertainment is so good, people don't go out nearly as much anymore.

You spun a thread of mine onto Israel! Obsessed? I'd be interested in educating myself on that conflict. Do you have any unbiased links for me to read up on/ thread for it?

Why do you call it obsessed, UKJ?

Let's make N. Korea the whipping boy, let's make Russia the whipping boy, but for dog's sake, never, ever, ever question the uS or it's holy cow, Israel.

Perhaps you should try catching up on stuff published by international human rights groups, who frequently list both as abusers of human rights.

The whole movie is propaganda, based on human rights violations. Check out the people involved in it, from actors to producers. Jeez, dya think Seth Rogan might be an Israel-supporter? Nah, he's not even remotely Jewish.Hey, but attacking a nation supported by the US for HR abuses makes one anti-semitic or a self-loathing Jew, right?

The whole thing was manipulated, they probably paid 'Lena' to do it, blamed N. Korea and cashed in on the scandal.

Re unbiased links, Google is your friend, you may have to use meta-search engines to find some of the other stuff.

I find it strange that people will watch channels they know are biased (CNN,Fox etc) with no caveat, but as soon as someone challenges what those biased channels say, they immediately demand 'unbiased' sources.

People are funny.

The movie made dumb and dumber to look like cinematic genius.
