Maybe he'll lead the operation 'clear Wuhan of Corona' himself. The Chinese were probably highly impressed with the way he led the operation in Kep last month.

There's not much spared resources for China to spend on receiving a PM and the extra security cost.

Plus, they has already locked down numerous cities in Hubei province. The situation is way worse and there's no reason for them to not keep it hidden.

Got to laugh, the Thai Minister of Health did an about turn on his intention to travel on the plane bringing back Thai's. " A dignitary of my importance would have complicated things for the Chinese authorities". Of course he pulled out the stops to make it to the runway tarmac for the obligatory photo op.

OK addition. The person from Belgium was tested positive, but they repatriated 9, not 7.
