God, you guys (especially Mishmash) are like little girls gossiping about the new girl in school. Jesus, calm down a bit.

Anyway, it's now 'Beer-O'clock', so I've got something to do...

Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
of course it's probably just a matter of time, but i don't think the virus has spread at all internationally yet has it?
chinese people carrying it have
it seems it likely didn't originate in that market
but very little variance in dna sequence so likely all from a single source, very recently
it seems not as deadly as the other outbreaks, 3% death toll so far
then again if it infects even 1% of us that would be a lot of death

If you are traveling in Asia on a Chinese passport, double-check all your visa requirements, which may have changed recently due to the corona virus outbreak.
Coronavirus: Philippines stops issuing tourist visas on arrival to Chinese nationals

The Philippines’ Bureau of Immigration will temporarily stop issuing tourist visas on arrival to Chinese nationals to help ensure the country remained free of the new coronavirus, its head said on Tuesday.
“We are taking this proactive measure to slow down travel, and possibly help prevent the entry of the 2019-nCov,” Jaime Morente, the bureau’s commissioner said in a statement.
Sri Lanka also suspended its policy of granting visas on arrival for Chinese travellers, one day after authorities confirmed the country’s first coronavirus infection
Malaysia on Monday suspended issuing visas to Chinese citizens from Hubei province with immediate effect. The government said the decision was made following the World Health Organisation’s procedures, as well as expert advice on limiting the spread of the virus.

Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
4500 confirmed cases in China today, 2700 only 2 days ago, a 60% increase. Germany joins the nations with confirmed cases and the DAX index drops 2.3% Monday and 2.6% today. This isn't just going to be a medical disaster, this is going to rock the financial markets worldwide.
