Some more than others...
Do you think the parents of baby boomers whined so much when the boomers started changing society? And yet the whiney ones like to call young people "snowflakes." Hmm...

This is a worry:

Seoul closes bars and clubs over fears of second COVID-19 wave

The nation has been held up as a global model in how to curb the virus, but the order from the Seoul mayor on Saturday (May 9) followed the new infection cluster in Itaewon, one of the city's busiest nightlife districts.

More than two dozen cases were linked to a 29-year-old man who tested positive after spending time at five clubs and bars in Itaewon last weekend.

Health authorities have warned of a further spike in infections, with around 7,200 people estimated to have visited the five establishments identified.

Well, at least thy have got the technology in place to enable them to say they can identify 7200 people who were in or around those places. In many places in the world, governments (like mine) have no clue who to identify, alert and isolate.

this isn't directly related to cv19, but a useful guide for critical thinking

What does it take to keep a conspiracy secret

a real conspiracy would be manipulating these highly contagious viruses to be more deadly and selective

Here’s the part I don’t get. Mainland China had the virus first, yet only the now are reports surfacing from the US and Europe about treatment strategies, kids either the virus, etc. Yet, the CCP President claims he has been open and shared everything about the virus with the world.

About this point everything about the virus should be known since China had it since January or earlier and all the data should be out.

Just for hanno, as I'm sure he's too busy frothing over CNN, MSNBC and FoxNews to notice what's going on in the Fatherland.

Coronavirus: Germany infection rate rises as lockdown eases
2 hours ago

Coronavirus infections are rising in Germany, official data shows, just days after the country eased its lockdown restrictions.

According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), Germany's reproduction rate - the number of people each confirmed patient infects - is now above 1.

This means the number of infections is now rising in the country.

The report came as thousands of Germans gathered on Saturday calling for a total end to the lockdown.

Chancellor Angela Merkel announced a broad relaxation of national restrictions on Wednesday after talks with the leaders of Germany's 16 states.

All shops are allowed to reopen, pupils will gradually return to class and the Bundesliga - Germany's top football league - will restart as soon as next weekend.

But there were protests across the country on Saturday, as some called for measures to be lifted even quicker.

Germany has the seventh-highest number of confirmed cases in the world, with latest RKI data on Sunday showing the reported infected tally at 169,218 and a reported death toll of 7,395.
What did the report say?

The report from the public health agency released on Saturday said the reproduction rate was estimated at 1.1.

While this estimate involves "a degree of uncertainty", the rise in the number requires "a close monitoring of the situation in the coming days".

Germany has won praise for its response to the outbreak. Mass testing and effective lockdown restrictions have helped keep the death toll far lower than in other European countries.

What data are you missing?

Here is my take on it. First it was dismissed by Chinese medical authorities as another flu because it sure didn’t look like a plague and still looks more like a flu. Then, some stupid asshole decided he is going to save the world by being a whistleblower. After that Chinese authorities couldn’t dismiss it any longer because they were accused of concealing the “truth”. They overdid in their efforts to show the world they are serious and not concealing anything. They world saw how people are barred in their apartments and totally freaked out. And now we are in deep shit for... a fucking flu because face saving is more important.

That kinda wraps it up. Did i miss any data?
