NVM you edited it!
If that nurse's estimation of 100,000 infected is real then this is spreading everywhere, unless all international travel is suspended across the globe I can't see something this pandemic being contained.

The UK is trying to track 10,000 Chinese who came from Wuhan
Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches
The nurse’s estimation is the number of people who came for help, NOT the number of this coronavirus infections. Included are all people with a common cold or flu as initial symptoms are exactly the same. Now that they are suspicious they are infected with the new virus they all came to the hospital. It takes a long enough time, as in days, to test if the patient really has the virus. Especially if the workload is so high now. But this panic is going to spread fast and furious in the internet age, add a few heart breaking videos and there you go.

^^^^That's old data, the most up-to-the-minute figures can usually be found here:
https://bnonews.com/index.php/2020/01/t ... rus-cases/
There are currently 1,390 confirmed cases worldwide, including 42 fatalities.

Just the watching masses in that Chinese hospital - if they were definitely infected, they'd probably have trouble standing in a queue for hours on end waiting to be seen by a doctor. Which leads me to think most of them probably aren't infected - yet. But after spending hours at the hospital in close proximity to those that probably are, they soon will be.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 5:20 pm video

Unless you're absolutely sure that you have it, I'd assume that a hospital is the last place you'd want to be going to.
