But don't worry, as from next week, anyone arriving in the UK will have to provide a negative Covid-19 test. IF this is a good idea now, why wasn't it a good idea in March?

I've not done any fact checking here, but Katie Hopkins is a plain speaking right wing journalist and broadcaster in the UK who finds it increasingly hard to get a platform as she upsets too many people and the lefties call her a fascist/racist/Nazi etc. The usual response to anyone from the right.

Anyway, here's some statistics.

Total number of deaths of people under 60 with no pre-existing health conditions in the UK.

388

Total Number of NHS staff off sick/self isolating or generally just not showing up for work of Friday 30th October

You're a brave man, Doc - quoting Katie Hopkins without fact checking.

She lost her house and everything she owned by doing that herself - not fact checking what she wrote. ie, For telling lies and slandering people. Too many expensive lost libel cases.
She narrowly avoided bankruptcy by going into voluntary insolvency after the last case - a little bit embarrassing when one of her shticks has long been putting scorn on bankrupts - "they deserve going broke - it's their own fault".

This professional "opinionist", who's Youtube is proudly introduced by the moniker "Vicious Bitch", is one of those grubs that gets herself famous simply by being deliberately offensive and provocative.
I don't believe she is a racist or fascist or anything - 'far too vacuous for that. She can NEVer come up with any rational follow-up arguments after she makes headlines for her attention-seeking putrid grabs.

She actually tried to spread the lie in that vid, that those numbers - "only 388" and "76.200 bone lazy, front line doctors and nurses taking a sickie", are prohibited from being revealed.
What a hero she is - speaking truth to power. Except for the fact that she can't stop herself from telling lies exactly like this.

She is attention starved these days because not even the centre-right media will touch her with a bargepole. It seems they don't want to go into voluntary insolvency for publishing lies about innocent people.
Besides everybody has long woken up to the fact that her proudly cultivated "Viscous Bitch" shtick is really just a trashy way to make herself famous and pull in a few bucks from being as offensive as she possibly can on trash TV.

Oh, while i'm at it - i did fact check this- 600 British medical staff have died whilst fighting on the front lines.

haha this video here was the best roast of Katie Hopkins i remember, after she spent the first 5 minutes of this interview slagging off peoples first names and that she would never let her kids hang around with kids with certain names because they are obvious working class scum, then this happened....

One of the unsung advantages of overseas living is being detached from UK ( Lack of ) Reality TV and the kind of characters it churns out. Looking at her Wikipedia bio it seems to me she hasn't managed to hold down any employment position for very long, generally being sacked from everywhere, and I'm struggling to see what exact skills she has other than a Phd in outspoken bigotry. Happy to see a few lost libel cases have emptied the pot a bit.
