I was present at an incident where the police confiscated a persons mobile phone and deleted the film. The person was reluctant to give up his phone but was threatened with arrest if he did not.
The cops weren’t too happy when I took photos of them sleeping on the job, on top of the statue at riverside. I pretended to not understand and only spoke Chinese (pre invasion days) and beat it quick.

If you look caucasian then the guy was truly a lazy one for letting you go away.
I was only talking Indonesian when caughed on wheels by cops, and i'm a whitey. But it's harder to identify as an asian language than Chinese for sure. I was let go everytime, as i put a pack of ciggies into the hand of the cop, while he was trying to recollect his English catch phrases.

But let's stick to law changes while Covid.
Seems the French law will be entirely rewritten, ministers are retro-pedaling now. Case not yet closed though.

That's good news, Ghost.

Somehow that law did not square with the famous French popular-revolutionary character.
good luck, keep marching (and riot when you need to)
