Mona Lisa: Man dressed as old woman throws cake at da Vinci painting
https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-61635822A man disguised as an elderly woman in a wheelchair has thrown cake at the Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting at the Louvre in Paris.
The piece, which was undamaged, was left with white cream smeared across its protective glass.
The perpetrator, seen wearing a wig and lipstick, urged people to "think of the Earth" while being led from the scene.
The incident on Sunday was described by witnesses as being "jaw-dropping".

I'm thinking of cake now. We never agree on anything.

I haven't been recycling, but now that I've seen this video, I will start.
"Life is too important to take seriously."
"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."

A crazy person rubbed cream on the bullet-proof glass the Mona Lisa is displayed behind. I was at the Louvre a couple of times and it's one of the most disappointing exhibits in the entire museum. Hundreds of people trying to get a glimpse of a small painting (77 cm x 53 cm / 30 in × 21 in) behind thick glass.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Yeah, I went when I was 11. Massive crowds everywhere. I don't remember much.John Bingham wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 12:20 pmA crazy person rubbed cream on the bullet-proof glass the Mona Lisa is displayed behind.
