But in "our" defense, that was the ideology that was forced down our throats all throughout our growing up years.

"Your special", "Your a prince/princess", "Your awesome", "You can do anything you want"

Basic analysis shows us that parents are the fundamental role models of children. Not the only ones, but the most significant. Parenting well, with clarity and knowledge of the incredible impact had on a child is a tough job. Full respect to those that take understand that and take that responsibility seriously.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

The worst thing about millennials is that they apparently don't know "your" from "you're". There is no defense for that.

You're all getting old and cranky, and out of touch with these noble examples of humanity.

Take some drugs and stop moaning.

Because we went too far in trying to throw off shackles of culture and society, and created these precious little royals precisely as another poster said, by telling them repeatedly they can do anything, while at the same time telling them they can't play in the playground in case they hurt themselves. And they watched the generation before, still somewhat in the mode of striving to improve their lot in life but still remembering life is not handed to us on a platter.....at the same time pretty much over indulgung a child's demands without setting boundaries. The current generation then, without reference to the trials and trubulations of generations before them, had only a simple message. I'm special. I can do anything. I'm going to make a difference. It's more complicated, but that's my dark grey coloured glasses condensed perspective.
