Milord, nice avatar!

The US are spoiled with their police.

The police in sunny SA during apartheid were real fun guys.

I managed to only get beaten up once.

That's what cracks me up with the whole "It's a police state!" shit people keep spouting. They apparently wouldn't know a police state if it was punching them in the ribs while raping their wife in front of them.

Well... maybe then they'd get it and long for the days of traffic tickets and the occasional overreaction.

OD: Your the nutter and don't even have a clue.
So people that prepare for a disaster are nut cases? You've been watching too much reality TV. So in your estimate the Mormon church is full of nutters as they are told to put away two years of food and help each other. So much for freedom of religion in your eyes.
"Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance"

The Branch Davidians, Koresh and the women/children at Waco were murdered by the out of control BATF and the government covered it up. Even the guy who invented the FLIR (Thermal Imaging Infrared Cameras) showed in an interview with videos that the government from tanks was firing machine guns into buildings that held women/children and using gas, all with no return fire. The BATF assaulted the church because they thought Koresh had a .50cal machine gun (heresay), when he actually had a legal/anyone can buy Barrett .50cal semi-auto rifle. The local Waco Sheriff (interview suppressed by media) said that if he was going to arrest Koresh he would have just walked up to the front door and knocked as he had had no problem with Koresh in the past, but the BATF had to use all the SWAT money that the feds had given them and make the papers which they did, not in a good way. (Go investigate "Ruby Ridge also)

Police State? OD you really don't have a clue and are one of the many Sheeple with no idea what is going on! Here is an example of your thinking on police.
You put a frog in a pot of boiling water and he will jump out. You put a frog in a pot of cool water, apply a small amount of heat and you can cook him. The police are there for your protection. Not! They are there to suck people into the prison/judicial system and stop them from jumping out of the pot, can you say SERFs? Everything now is for Homeland Security. This is the first time in American history that all the letter agencies (all with SWAT teams) is under one person/agency.

Not know what a police state is? Bull Sh*t. Having the corrupt police try and kill me a couple times or having an attorney tell me I had to move or the police would disappear me kind of gives me a perspective on the police state you will never have and even if you did you would be like the frog in the cool water with the police turning the heat up

"Those that would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty or safety"
"Make yourselves sheep and the wolves will eat you."
Benjamin Franklin
1706-1790

"Wife raped in front of me" I never feared about that as I was well armed at home and also had a government issued pistol carry permit. When criminals break into your home which would you rather have a cell phone to call police or a pistol to defend your family and yourself?

So, in the end OD, give me your first hand experience that gives you the right to say we/I don't know what a police state is. In other words, put up or shut up.

Because of the "new" and many militia organizations in America the government is afraid to do another Waco or Ruby Ridge. Case in point the farmer in Nevada. What the media didn't say was that the BLM SWAT team was beginning to be surrounded by armed militia members (some ex-military/snipers), thus the cowards backed down.

Maybe we just see the signs of the time and want to avoid getting to a place like apartheid south Africa.
