They stabbed a total 25 people, that's absolutely insane! Hopefully they make it to prison, it sounds like the people they were going after they knew and one of their family members should know someone to deal with them when they end up in a cage.

I was just reading the online comments, they're depressingly predictable.

Insane indeed. I saw a comment suggesting they walked into the victim's homes while they slept and started stabbing, which seems to suggest a huge personal grudge.

Native on native violence is all too common on Canada’s indigenous lands, but unless it’s something really shocking like this it doesn’t makes it to the media because frankly the average Canadian couldn’t care less about the native population except when there is an opportunity to posture with empty virtue signaling.

Especially in the Prairies the cops are so few and far between response times are often in the hours, I’m not surprised they had time to wander around house to house before they decided to sheath their blades and go into hiding.

As firearms weren’t used there will be no political gain for Ottawa to allow their media puppets to run with this story ... the real possibility this stabbing spree could highlight the horrible living conditions of many native reserves; the absence of police protection in most parts of rural Canada but most importantly the abject failure of the Indian Act and it's bloated bureaucracy to do anything positive for Canada’s 1st Nations will guarantee this quietly goes away as far as news coverage goes.

^^It's so similar I came to find in the states and the native reservations there too (especially in New Mexico where I have connections to). It's also just as ignored in the states as well, most Americans don't even know these problems even exist.

This is madness. How sad.

I wouldn't count on lengthy prison terms. The courts in Canada are filled with judicial activists who are more than sympathetic to the pleadings of the Native industrial complex. My heart goes out to the victims and their families and friends.
