Jeez man, learn. Read more than right-wing bullshit. If you want to get in to it, let’s open a new thread on whether Islam wants to take over the world or whether the media you read has an agenda. I’ll own you, and I’ll invite a number of “terrorists” to join the conversation to help. They’ll embrace you and show you nothing but love towards another human. They’ll also feel great pity for you. But they’ll say not a word.
TWO HUNDRED AND NINETY DEAD and still counting and your friends are going to show us love. On your bike-you are a disgrace to all good people.

Yerg-Don't show show yourself up as being a pratt. You know I love you. If we ever meet up (out of OMAN) I'd love to give you a really nice French kiss, especially if you are still wearing that nice, sexy, feminine outfit of yours.
Until then,
Lots of love
I hope God, Jesus, Lady Mary and perhaps Satan take good care of you.

I'll admit I haven't read the full thread so this may have already been expressed.
The mainstream media can't bring itself to report that those attacked were Christians, instead they are now "Easter worshippers" ... FFS.
That's up there with "some people did some things" on 9/11.

yep same in the UK, when somebody shouts allu akbar and stabs people or lets off a bomb the perp is usually described as having "mental problems" and the politicians all say "this has nothing to do with Islam" The leader of the labour party, Jeremy Corbyn, was at finsbury park mosque the day after the christchurch massacre to show solidatory with the "muslim comminity" and he then went on to the new zealand embassy to lay a wreath, he is strangly silent on this apart from the cut and paste "our thoughts go out"

When mass murder is committed in the name of religion, then anger is normal, but how you deal with it is up to you. You are responsible for how you react. I consider that anyone who stirs up hate towards others is contributing to the general climate of violence. It is sad to see that the acts of mass murder by religious extremists are succeeding in their aim to spread fear and loathing of the 'other'. We should resist the hate or we are no better.
RIP to the victims, and thoughts to their families.

Just saw this... https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/as ... h-11471068 ... what's next then?
Btw ---
This conversation should not be about religion. It's about absolute belief systems. Religious belief system form a part of the pie, but it's not alone.
Any belief system that become absolute in it's view, can stir up shit.
... Ultra-left/rights, Psychotic eco warriors, Religious zealots, Flat earthers.

I think the point is the prevalence of selective reporting by the mainstream media. There is no hate speech involved in stating that "Muslims were killed by terrorists at Such and Such mosque" and nor is there hate speech in stating that "Christians were killed by terrorists at Such and Such churches" - neither statement is more loaded than the other to incite fear and loathing. The question is why does the media (rightly) portray Muslims as victims yet use terms such as "Easter worshippers" rather than Christians.Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 1:38 am When mass murder is committed in the name of religion, then anger is normal, but how you deal with it is up to you. Totally agree that it is sad to see the acts of religious extremists of any faith succeeding in their goals.

Easter worshippers includes non-Christians or agnostics or turned up just for the occasion. It's inclusive not exclusive. Lots of people go to church at Easter and Christmas who don't normally go. Also it's not something I have seen in the "main stream media" here. Maybe it's an Australian thing.StroppyChops wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 2:33 pmI think the point is the prevalence of selective reporting by the mainstream media. Have you noticed that no other religion has an -ophobia?tightenupvolume1 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 2:45 pm https://www.spiked-online.com/2019/01/0 ... 2-65605565
Hinduophobia ... nope.
Buddhistophobia ... nope.
Christianophobia ... nope.
Taoismophobia ... nope.
Shintoismophobia ... nope.
Sikhismophobia ... nope.
Judaismophobia ... nope.
Tenriismophobia ... nope.
And nor do the many others. So why is it that this one religion is exempt from criticism? And why do nations that follow other religions yield to this petulance?
Declared bias - yes, I'm a Christian. Doesn't change the truth of this post.

Way to split hairs. Let me guess, some people did some things?cptrelentless wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 2:48 pm Easter worshippers includes non-Christians or agnostics or turned up just for the occasion.
