Just when I thought the UK couldn’t get any worse.

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Just when I thought the UK couldn’t get any worse.

Post by Chad Sexington »

A woman in the UK has been visited by the police because she has been “untoward about peadophiles” in a video posted on YouTube (she is openly vocal about men who claim to be women, invading spaces that she rightly believes should be the preserves of women and children, for example, public bathrooms and changing rooms)
One ‘person’ reported her to the police, who apparently consider this is a hate crime, and that was enough for the police to pay her a visit and confront her about her heinous crime.
Bear in mind, it is nigh on impossible to get the police to come out and investigate a burglary, yet they have the time and resources to investigate someone who says something they consider offensive to the “feelings” of peadophiles.
Hopefully the link is attached below (my first attempt at doing so)

A kings ransom wouldn’t be enough to get me living back in the UK.

What a weird opportunity to learn another English word...

"Synonyms & Antonyms for untoward

Synonyms

balky, contrary, contumacious, defiant, disobedient, froward, incompliant, insubordinate, intractable, obstreperous, rebel, rebellious, recalcitrant, recusant, refractory, restive, ungovernable, unruly, wayward, willful (or wilful)

Antonyms

amenable, biddable, compliant, conformable, docile, obedient, ruly, submissive, tractable"

Untoward to paedos seems the minimalist way to go, but who knows, maybe they deserve some kind of respect i'm not familiar with, in some places ?

I don't believe that the police would follow up a complaint about someone being 'untoward' about paedophiles. As the presenter said, I think there's been a misunderstanding somewhere along the line. Someone has probably assumed the word 'untoward' to mean something completely different. Let's be fair, the British police aren't particularly known for their command of the English language.

On a broader point, as a male who's quite happy with his gender, and certainly not a nonce, I don't really know enough about the rest of what she's talking about to have a strong opinion either way, but did she say there's a link between men who identify as females and paedophiles? I get that there's a lot of sexual fetishes and a million gender identity issues these days, but linking trans people with paedo's is a new one on me.

I'm so glad I'm old enough to not to have to live through all of this for much longer. God, to be young today...

Sonya Poulton has said the same thing and has copped a lot of flack for it. The world has gone mad.

This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. It's so over the top.
The old boy was aged 93, in a care home, with dementia - and was in a wheelchair with only one leg. Police tasered him. WTF.

Inquiry after 93-year-old man with one leg dies after being Tasered by police
Donald Burgess, who had dementia and had threatened care home staff, died three weeks after incident in Sussex
First published on Thu 4 Aug 2022 16.09 BST

Two police officers involved in firing a Taser at a 93-year-old man in a wheelchair, who had threatened care home staff with a knife, are being investigated for manslaughter after the man’s death.

Donald Burgess, who had one leg and had dementia, died last month, three weeks after being hit by the Taser.

On Thursday the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) confirmed it was investigating the 21 June incident, which involved two constables from Sussex police.

One of the officers tried to restrain Burgess using an incapacitant spray and a baton. Another officer then fired a Taser before the knife was removed.
Burgess was handcuffed and taken to hospital, where he remained until his death on 13 July.

The two constables involved have been served with misconduct notices and letters advising them they are under criminal investigation for manslaughter. The IOPC stressed this did not necessarily mean that disciplinary proceedings or criminal charges would follow.

For all intents and purposes, the UK is a failing (and soon, failed) state. QEII won't be around forever, and God help them once the child-molester-hugging imbecile will ascend to the throne.
