John Pilger RIP

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

A decent human and possibly one of the last great journalists

Some of his video works were well ahead of their time and have aged like wine

He did write some absolute leftie bullshit for the English rags though

Yes, and it isn't necessary to agree with someone 100% to admire and respect them. It might not even be desirable.

We need more journalists and political commentators like Pilger.

I read about this guy’s passing and his great work … RIP for sure. Tim Hetherington was another great one (w/ strong ties to Cambodia) lost recently … they don’t make ‘em like this anymore … guys like them are an endangered species.

CORRECTION: Tim Page … not Tim Hetherington … doh! Still groggy from last night … but all three legends regardless.

Pilger is a great loss.

The Hetherington documentary is well worth a watch.

Not trying to pimp Tim Page's archive sales ... but ... his prints are still available for those interested in collecting vintage photos of the greats ...
