"It is not too much to say a radical movement operating in the Middle East is one of the products of the US invasion and it is unpredictable how the crisis will end," the expert on Islam, Jaran Maluleem , said, referring to the IS.

I hope Cambodia is not one of the targeted country. We do have Muslim here, but we get along with each other so well. we never have religion war.

I don't think the problem would come from ISIS-sympathetic Cambodian Chams, but Indonesian jihadists could attempt another Bali-style bomb attack aimed at events or sites popular with Westerners anywhere in SE Asia. Cambodia would be a very unexpected target, but you never know. US and European embassies anywhere are attractive targets for terrorists and the ones in this region aren't so well defended.

You are right. There are so many European countries embassy here and also US. No to mention, Cambodia also has so many white tourist such as Sihanouvkille and Angkor Wat. Why don't we keep the world a safe place for everyone.

Even though Indonesia is the biggest number of Muslim in South East Asia, but they are different type from ISIS. But according to the article,I wonder if they have the same ideology?

"Defeating IS will not end the militant movement because many Muslim groups are still loyal to the group and share the same ideology.

"Even if the IS disappears, another group will lead the movement in its place," Mr Jaran said.

Don't forget, these Islamist extremist wackos are not just after white people, they hate Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, etc. of all ethnicities, nationalities and skin colors. They are a serious danger to civilization and diversity in general.

This is what i heard from people from Muslim country like Morocco. ISSI is not Muslim, they are just extremist. They just used the title of being Muslim or as their cover. It seems like this kind of group has been increasing in other countries too. like Bokor Haram in Nigeria and what they did was extremely horrible, kidnapping so many female students (One of my German friend is working with Germany embassy in Logos, she said, they haven't found all those school girls yet). I was thinking what has happened on those innocent school girl. I hope they only just forced them to marry their member, not killing them. Similarity to this, the attacking in one of the university in Kenya killing at least 147 students and teachers.

i wonder what the world can do to eradicate all such thing. Sad.

I think Indonesia is one of the biggest Muslim country in the world, not just in South East Asia. If we say ISSI is not Muslim, of cause they are different. However, what we are worried is that how many young indonesian will be brainwashed by ISSI.

Muslim has 2groups. ISIS is muslim too. But they don't get on well with each other. I don't know now how many groups are they?
Indonesia is the 4th country of the large number of population and most of them are muslim. But Cambodia is the 70th with multiple religions. I don't think it's good to be a target country for them :p
But I still wonder if original muslim against with ISIS Because ISIS made the reputation of muslim bad?
