Not in my state.

I just renewed my EXPIRED concealed handgun license for another 5 or so years by simply handing over my license to verify my ID, filled out a form, gave them about $50 and it was in the mail within a few weeks.

I also took a gun to university every day, against restrictions, of course. I'd rather get caught with it than caught without it.

Username Taken: I will defend your right to free speech and making stupid mindless statements. The Second Amendment? The nice thing about our Second Amendment is its ours and there isn't F*ckall any Sheeple from countries that have taken away that right can do about it except jack-their-jaws endlessly. Our founding fathers (after they threw out the undesirables) were smart in allowing the citizens to defend themselves. Even our Declaration of Independence states that when a government becomes corrupt its the "Duty" of the citizens to throw it out. (America is in for some interesting times to come.)

Last time I renewed my carry license it took almost two months because of the FBI background checks.(their excuse, but it may have been because everyone and his brother were trying to get one to defend themselves against corrupt shoot first cops.)

GM: Good on you for planning ahead to defend yourself where corrupt US politicians have made into no-gun targets.

All he wanted was a fucking Flag of the Caliphate. Why couldnt Tony Abbot understand this?

The West is so fucked letting 3rd worlders in. Between the white population declining in rapid numbers and the influx of whooping cough and pressure cook bombs. Well you figure it out.

As for my gun rights. When I hear the words: inequality. climate change action. Social Justice. White Privilege. Socialism. Universal health care and of course...Sustainable development. I BUY 1 BULLET FOR EVERY WORD....EVERY TIME.

Its like common sense is fucking gone. I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS INSANITY?!

"I buy 1 bullet for every word....every time." So that's why I have 35,000 rounds of ammo stashed in America. (Its also a great investment. I bought 440rounds of rare Russian sniper ammo a few years back for about $150. and its going for between $2. and $4. a round now if you can find it.)

Wow, the Oz police had it all wrong, they should have thrown stones at the Islamofacists crazy, or maybe the OZ government should issue concealed rock carry permits.

Stones were probably good when all the A-rabs had were stones, but now they have access to superior weapons so the Sheeple need to arm themselves no matter what their touchy-feely poofter government says.

Rifle Colorado, my kind of town and Shooters Gill is my kind of restaurant. Bet some Islamofacists won't try and take that restaurant over.

Just days before the Lindt Café Siege which rocked the nation, an anonymous caller rang the Australian National Security hotline to alert authorities to the website of Man Haron Monis.

Australia's Intelligence Organisation has revealed they received a call around two days before the deadly siege, advising them to "take a look at this man's website". The caller did not suggest Monis was planning a terrorist attack, had a weapon or that he planned to take any hostages.

The call to the security hotline will be a key component of the review ordered by Prime Minister Tony Abbott to establish more clarity about the terrifying incident, reports the Daily Telegraph.

It was reported that ASIO examined Monis's website, which features rambling posts about terrorism-fuelled protests in Martin Place, as a result of the call.

He was also out on bail for conspiracy to murder... and a self-proclaimed nutter...

What's the point of tightening security laws and spying on private correspondence to supposedly track terrorists, when they ignore what's out in the open and release a probable murder suspect who makes violent threats ??
The evidence comes after reports that the siege gunman told police in 2008 he planned terrorism-related "protests" in Martin Place just metres from the café where he took 18 hostages this week.

Man Haron Monis also wrote letters to Qantas's chief executive in 2009 suggesting he had information about sabotage at the airline that would lead to mass casualties.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has launched a major investigation into why security services allowed Monis to drop off a terrorism watch list despite numerous examples of extremist views and behaviour, reports Sydney Morning Herald.
