Funnily enough, my mates in Hong Kong say life is going on as normal. They've been delayed a few times on the way to work, but apart from that have no protest related issues good or bad.

I suspect its more localised than many broadcasters would have us believe.

My HK friends are saying they have to wake up 2 hours earlier than usual to get to work, and are often witnessing disturbing events out of their windows.

Meanwhile in Iraq:
