To hold such a lofty view of your political convictions and look down on Jamie because his conflict with yours is ludicrous. It brings to mind the old adage, "There's no fool like an old fool." The skills that you possess are impressive, your autobiographic blurbs fascinating, but when you enter the arena of political opinion all of that is irrelevant. Jamie is not as old as you, but it's clear his life has been and continues to be full. So, give the "kid" a break, he can hold his own.
