Game of Thrones (no book spoilers!)

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Found a nice Song of Ice and Fire Wiki this morning. Has excellent back story information on characters. You have to be a little careful of spoilers, but the character biographies are broken down into back story (pre GoT) and then book by book, so take some care and don't read ahead too far. Having read the books up to the end of this T.V. season, I found the back stories filled out some interesting details I missed or that were missing from the books.

Going to be a lot happening in the next three episodes. Looking forward to it after this little break.

Awesome episode. So many people died. One in particular that no one was expecting.

Damn, I can't wait until next week.

Season 4 Episode 8. The Viper and the Mountain.

Good episode. Surprised there isn't more discussion about it.

A few changes from the book, although nothing major. Expect next week to be a major event as seems to have become the pattern for this series. I think the show will focus on the last stand of Castle Black with some big action sequences. Argh, the wildlings are coming! The following week won't let up though as there is plenty of personal and family drama still going on, particularly with the Lannisters.
Spoiler:
Tyrion's face!Everyones faces! Full marks to the production and the actors involved....I knew the result of Oberon vs. Clegane ahead of time, but damn I still got a high from watching Oberon fill 'The Mountain' with holes.

A proud moment there for young Ramsay Snow. Good on the young man really, he's done his father proud.

Sansa Stark coming down those stairs to meet Lord Beilish. Looks like a big change in her character. Now she is playing the game.

The scene with Arya and the Hound wasn't in the books. Will be interesting to see how they wrap this road trip sub plot up.
So much more to happen yet. It's going to be a cracking final two episodes.

[Admin Edit: Wrapped a bit of that in spoiler tags that could be a little telling of outcomes.]

I think I'll get the next two books. I got the first lot at the end of last season to see me through. The last book I read has overlapped this series somewhat, but to my relief, the TV series is so well executed that fore knowledge hasn't spoiled the event for me.
