Dillon Taylor, 20 from Salt lake City, was leaving a 7 eleven store around 7 pm when police received a call about a man with a gun. Upon responding to 7 eleven they saw Dillian leaving the store and ordered him to lay down on the ground. Dillon had his ear phones in and did not hear what the cops said. When Dillon grab his pants to pull them up the cops opened fire.

The 3 officers who were involved in the shooting and on the scene, are reportedly on paid vacations. It is still unclear how many officers fired at Taylor or how many times he was shot.
It was later reported that Taylor had warrants, however Sgt. Darren Sweeten said it is unlikely that the officers knew who he was prior to shooting him. However, after hearing of this, Salt Lake City Tribune quickly moved forward to demonize the victim. Their most recent headline on the case read, “SLC Police fatally shoot wanted fugitive outside 7-Eleven.”

Well if it's not reported how would anyone know ? First I've heard about it. It is just as shameful and yet another example the the police brutality

^ IMO, neither cases had anything whatsoever to do with racism, but rather lack of proper training and experience. Being a cop is a difficult job and requires quick, rational decision making under often chaotic consequences. Sometimes human beings make unfortunate choices in such circumstances. Both the white cop and the black cop appear, in hindsight, to have used inappropriate lethal force when perhaps non-lethal means could have been used instead. It by no means conveys racism was involved in any way in either case. I don't have any of the facts. I didn't jump to conclusions with the Ferguson situation and I won't with this situation.

But IF there is video of that now deceased white kid robbing that store and attacking people minutes before the police shooting, then my opinion will sway much more in support of the black cop who shot him. That video would not be irrelevant to the scenario, regardless of what all the liberal media said about the robbery/assault video in the Ferguson case.

Normally level headed comedian John Oliver totally lambasted police in Ferguson (and police in general) on his weekly latest weekly HBO show as racist and stupid. His completely one-sided attack was very disappointing.
