Essex: 39 bodies found in truck

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Photo of a complete cunt. And that is the worst language I am capable of using to express my feelings.

I hate you until the end of time.

For the families...

RIP - Cambodia and the UK stand with you.

Fuckin dumb despicable cunts. How dumb can you be???

Don't know if waterboarding is legal or not in Belgium but that would be my guess. That or a car battery to the testies. That's my guess. Anything that is not visible.

Others might have more insight on this?

A 19 year old girl with 30,000 pounds of borrowed money and no education has no chance of immigrating to the UK. She is a goldmine for a rub and tug and will be forced to sell herself for years and years. Her family will be in debt to loans sharks, she will be charged for everything from her food to her condoms by the brothel owner and she would be trapped, no passport, not speaking the language. There are some very vile people in this world. I hope the Ulster an spend the rest of his life providing sexual favors to those that control the pod.

UPDATE: Focus is now on the Vietnam Village and 1 woman there charged with Trafficking.

Prayers played over loudspeakers and candlelit vigils were held in Yen Thanh yesterday — as sources said a woman there had been charged with trafficking.

Reports suggested gangs had been visiting the community to refund distraught relatives.

Yeah - right !!! Fuck off

China is in the frame too - complaining it was the UK fault - yet they all went via China.

They can fuck off too.

More have been arrested in the UK, but no charges yet.

Now that Robinson has been charged he cannot be further questioned. Those Boys from Belfast are a pretty tough lot, I doubt they will be able to put the frighteners on him too easily. I wonder if he went 'no comment' throughout...

He is looking at some serious time if successfully prosecuted. Manslaughter can carry a life term but 5 years or less is normal depending on the circumstances. I reckon this guy is looking at a high double digit minimum term, 15-20 perhaps. I can't think of a manslaughter case having so many victims and aggravating factors e.g. organised crime charges like money laundering and people trafficking.

Here's an extract from the Essex Police webpage with updates on this case...

Update: Saturday 26 October 17:15
The Crown Prosecution service has authorised Essex Police to charge a man in connection with the investigating the deaths of 39 people whose bodies were found in Grays on Wednesday.
Maurice Robinson, 25, of Laurel Drive, Craigavon, Northern Ireland was arrested shortly after the discovery was made at the Waterglade Retail Park.He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday 28 October charged with 39 counts of manslaughter, conspiracy to traffic people, conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration and money laundering.
Three other people have been arrested in connection with this investigation.
A 38 year-old man and a 38 year-old woman from Warrington and a 48 year-old man from Northern Ireland, who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and manslaughter remain in custody.

We remind members of the media that criminal proceedings against Mr Robinson are now active and that he has a right to a fair trial. It is extremely important that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.

He's not from Belfast, he's from Craigavon.

From bubble tea to disaster: How one Vietnamese dreamer apparently met her fate
REUTERS
HANOI — In Berlin she posed outside a beer garden, a beaming smile upon her face. In Brussels she sipped sugary bubble tea and posed on the steps of the old stock exchange.

To anyone else, she was another tourist.

But Vietnamese 19-year-old Bui Thi Nhung, whose family believe she was one of the 39 people found dead in a refrigerated truck near London on Wednesday, it was the make-or-break trip of a lifetime.

"Being grown up means having to hide your sadness in the dark, and keeping a smile on your face," Nhung wrote in an Oct 21 Facebook post, days before her family lost contact with her and the news of the doomed shipping container emerged.

From interviews with her family, and a series of messages left on her social media accounts, Reuters has pieced together the last movements of one of the young Vietnamese migrants thought by relatives to be among the dead.

Nhung was from Nghe An, a poor province 300 km (190 miles) south of Hanoi, Vietnam's rapidly developing capital.

Many have made the same fateful journey. Britain's ambassador to Vietnam wrote in an opinion piece published last month by local papers that the dangers were clear.

"In recent years, hundreds of potential Vietnamese victims of trafficking have been identified in the UK," Ambassador Gareth Ward wrote in the Sept 29 column.

"There are cases of illegal immigrants suffering injuries when being chased. There are cases of death due to extreme cold, lack of oxygen inside lorries. Many never even set foot in the 'promised land'," Mr Ward wrote, referring to guarantees made by Vietnamese people smugglers to resettle migrants in Britain.

Nhung's family said she first left Nghe An on her journey overseas in August. She went to China first, before eventually making her way to Germany, then Belgium, where they believe she boarded the fated truck.

Officials in Britain have not yet identified the dead.

Just a quick comparison of visa requirements for various nationalities. As you can see Vietnamese have a lot of gray areas where they need a visa in advance. Cambodia isn't any easier.

OK non-PC but true.

I'm tired of this 'poor' angle.

I wish I had 30k. Christ - pensioners in the UK who have worked all their lives would love it instead of freezing to death every winter because they can't afford the power bill

"Many families in Yen Thanh got rich from money sent back by their children working abroad," said Le Dinh Tuan, a neighbour who had gone to her house to check on her mother.

They decided illegal ways to fuck my country and suffered the consequences.

Get a visa.

If I came to Vietnam no visa no skills no fuck all you would be the first to jail and deport me - and no doubt heap shit on my head as a 'rich barang'.

30k huh!!! :stir:

I take it if she were a Belgian male with a drug problem your view of helping her and your empathy for her would be different. Chances are pretty high that the 19 year old girl didn t have 30k of her own. Sorry but I will agree to disagree with you on this one.
