The head of privacy at the secretive Google X facility was one of the 18 people killed in an avalanche at Mount Everest, triggered by the Nepal earthquake. Hundreds of foreign nationals are also feared dead or are missing.

Probably.

Nepal’s Home Ministry has given an update on those injured and killed. The death toll has reached 2263 and 5580 people have been injured.

It seems that Khmer440 member, 'Mr Londo', was in Kathmandu at the time of the earthquake and is now able to update with his own take on things on the ground there.
