If former President Donald Trump and his campaign choose to attack Taylor Swift, he'll have to defeat a far scarier and more dangerous force than President Joe Biden's reelection campaign: her scorned fans.

After weeks of Republican media pundits and a former presidential candidate vilifying her, going as far as saying she's a Defense Department psy-op, it seems all but certain Trump will jump into the fray soon as well after Rolling Stone reported one of his confidants predicted a "holy war" against the pop sensation.

Should he go after her, it may be the biggest mistake of his 2024 campaign thus far, needlessly injecting himself into negative discourse with little perceivable way of succeeding.
