Americans are fanatics, its like watching something out of the middle east.

What a crazy time to be alive. In the middle of a race between a global pandemic which threatens to wipe us all out and a vaccine that may or may not save the human race from impending doom, the most powerful man on earth turns out to be more insane than any of us ever imagined and his lunatic supporters are trying to take over the asylum.

Just a year ago, if this were a script for a Hollywood movie it would be rejected for being far too unrealistic. I remember when the most dramatic thing to see when I turned on the news was the endless Brexit saga.

If this carries on there's a good chance that this time next year, we'll be seeing similar scenes but the mob trying to overrun congress will actually be zombies, undead remnants of a vaccine programme that went horribly, horribly wrong.

Nothing would surprise me now.

I've never thought of him as crazy in the sense of insane... rather, a mega narcissist...albeit it's defined as a personality disorder.
