I'm not sure if he's a nutter but this was uploaded Jan 2 and he's ignored the consensus, within Sweden and abroad, that their approach has been a failure. Perhaps lockdowns have also been a failure? This is a wakeup call and at least we should have better plans in place for the next outbreaks.

I'm also sceptical of people who use the term "mainstream media". In this age, it is easy to find a rag that supports any view. But then again, I don't really care. It's out of our hands. I'd rather listen to experts than laymen on matters of public health. My two cents.

Englands lockdowns were failures, a mixture of a clueless government and stubborn population

Aust targeted lockdowns have worked really well.
Worked for health, worked for the economy, didn't divide the country, increased faith in governments.

What's the difference between there and most other 1st world countries?
It stumps me.

PS, ^^^ Norbert the Viking Hipster is also spreading the story that vaccines are spreading Covid, their real intention. and that Trump was massively defrauded - and everything is working exactly according to their plan.
and lots of other s***.

The type of guy that picks one little point, sounds perfectly rational and reasonable - then starts conflating it with "The Great Conspiracy". Still sounds rational - but already looped the moon 3 times and now feasting on pure green cheese and pickled onions.
It's a bit of a Nordic thing apparently. No sunlight for 6 months combined with a depressive illness/generally black attitude to the world.
Poor bloke....even if he is a hipster

Some observations:

1. he never mentions covid at all..only as the 'flu'.. That says something about him I think ie he's another 'it's just the flu' devotee

2. he refers to other country's strategies as 'locking people up'. Of course, that's a gross exaggeration and metaphorical but nevertheless a very emotive term used to rile listeners imo

3. and he keeps saying 'it wasn't about health, was it?' A baseless assertion in his opinion..

Can you send me a link to him ? The person who sent me the swede video didn't express an opinion, just the video. I am going to wind him up with the maddest thing I can find, try to get an opinion from him, unfortunately David Ike is banned
