This makes Cambodia looks so much better in dealing with tourists. Look, we sent more than 100 competent polices and two helicopters to look for a lost French family. We even gave them free health check up and dinner with the minister of tourism ministry.

Apart from them, we even managed to bring the three French wannabe women safe from the park.

He has now been busted for shop-lifting a sleeping bag - not the easiest object to steal in a discreet manner.

On Friday Rault-Verpre appeared in Christchurch district court and was charged with a second crime – the theft of a NZ$1000 sleeping bag, allegedly stolen from an Auckland central city Kathmandu store on 9 September, NZME reported.

Rault-Verpre has pleaded guilty to the charges of theft and wilful damage, and has had his passport confiscated by New Zealand police. The fine was paid by an “external person”.

On Friday the judge granted the Frenchman bail, but ordered him to report to the Christchurch police station on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, in the lead-up to his review hearing on 4 October, Fairfax reported.
