that genius wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 2:45 pmI must say, I've met many Australians. They seem to fall into either the 'great people' or 'paedo/bogan/scumbag/convict' categories, not much of a middle ground.
It's a hard, hard country, which raises a hard hard attitude. Think about it, the most poisonous snakes, spiders, crocodiles, sharks, poisonous jellyfish, and fish,. then there are birds ( cassowary ) that will attack you, kangaroo's will do the same,
If it's not a drought, it's a flood or bushfire, cyclone or hailstones that will poleverise your car. And all that before you even start thinking about politicians , bankers, real-estate agents and women.
Thank god I'm a Kiwi.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

It's also one of the most urbanised countries in the world. Most Australians only ever see deadly animals on television.

Australia is, apparently, the safest country in the world for women.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... women.htmlAustralia is the safest country in the world for women - and the most dangerous nations are all in Africa and the Middle East
By Sam Duncan For Daily Mail Australia Published: 12:37 AEDT, 6 February 2018
Australia has been hailed as the safest country in the world for women, with Sudan, Somalia, Syria and Iraq among the most dangerous.
The findings were published in the February 2018 Global Wealth Migration Review, released by consultancy New World Wealth last month.
Rounding out the top ten safest nations were Malta, Iceland, New Zealand, Canada, Poland, Monaco, Israel, the USA and South Korea.
Social commentator and former clinical psychologist Bettina Arndt said the fact Australia is leading the world in women's safety should be celebrated.
Ms Anrdt said the results disprove a dominant 'anti-male narrative determined to paint our men as dangerous to women'.
'The way the media has treated this report's findings shows how common that anti-male agenda is in this country,' she said.
'There's absolutely no room in this agenda for celebrating good Aussie blokes or boasting about how well they treat the women in their lives.
'The story has been barely mentioned in the mainstream media, which normally loves stories about our country being the best in the world.
'Just look at the way the media reacted late last year when official statistics had revealed there's no epidemic of domestic violence.
'In fact over the last decade there's been no increase in women being abused by their partners.'...

What rubbish
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Re: Australia's new militia (video)
I really don't know how reputable the consultancy firm that conducted this study is, or how closely its methodology has been scrutinised. But they do say that "The rankings are based on the percentage of each country's female population that has been a victim of a serious crimes over the past year".
A good question might be how violence against Aboriginal women is factored into the calculation. Indigenous women are something like 30 times more likely to be hospitalised due to domestic violence than non-indigenous women in Australia.
If Violet thinks that the findings are rubbish, I'd be interested to hear which country or countries she thinks are less violent for women.
