Sailorman, it doesn't matter why it was won. No straw men, please. It was won with very little US help. Try and deal with it. iirc, it was one of the last wars where you guys were actually on the winning side.

BTW/ Russian was "allowed" to enter Berlin first. American troops had orders to set on their thumbs while Russian troops walked into Berlin. This really pissed Patton off and rightly so.

Why does anyone have to 'get' them? Why not reduce production to a non - insane level and stop the NRA brainwashing people they need guns?

A clean electoral system would protect them better than any Amendment ever could.

The US has more privately owned guns than the rest of the world by far, but it seems to be never enough. What would happen if you had no more guns at all in civilian hands ? (Collect and destroy.)

Vlad: as I said before, I feel embarrassed for you for your posts. Bottom line and if you read history is that America saved England with the help of Hitler and Goring. Germany had the manpower and equipment to walk over England, but Hitler and Goring screwed up big time. Even as England had its back to the wall and before America came to save it by entering the war, US merchant mariners were dying by Uboats to feed the English. Canada had few ships to supple England and the rest of the Empire was either in or going to be in Japo hands or shipless. The Germans were sinking ships faster than the Brits could replace them until America stepped in. Without America D-Day would have never happened, the invasion of Italy would have never happened, Without America and Hitler not invading Russia the Brits would now be speaking German (no a bad thing?)

Show me the number of troops, tank, soldiers, aircraft, guns that England had against the German juggernaut without America? Just as the Japos did off of Malaysia, the Brit navy was venerable to aircraft. (England proved that against the Bismarck when biplanes disabled it. Or the Italian fleet at Taranto.) Read your history before posting lies.

no the battle was won by us, the UK, why you even trying to take that away from us and insulting the many who fought and died during the Battle of Britain? what you are saying is a joke, yes, strategically hitler should have bombed our superior airbases and naval ports instead of London, but he didnt, and we went and fucked them up,

a lot of my family fought in both world wars in the Navy, Airforce and Army, i myself spent a lot of my youth in the RAF from a young age, ive marched in the Battle of Britain Parades etc..

it was our Air Force the 617 Squadron (RAF Scampton/Lincoln) that carried out the bouncing bomb attacks in Germany with the Lancaster Bombers (the Dambusters)

you love to play down anyone elses involvement in the war apart from the US (who did very little actual fighting in the grand scheme of things), half of what you say is very disrespectful to all the families and people who died in that war
