Luckily you will never have to. Nor will any of the lovely EVA flight crew. Nor will any of the rent a ladies in Thailand.RickyBobby wrote:I would jump out the plane before I would wipe that guys ass.
Everyone can breathe a collective sigh of relief.

I’m actually quite large. Or fat as people should say.

As he's not in this world anymore, I can't talk more about this guy, I just hope that no flight attendants need to deal with this kind of people anymore and hope there's no more human like this. It's surely traumatized the flight attendants ..Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:21 pm Update.

I'm completely stunned that anyone would have felt the need to wipe his arse for him. Did the flight attendant do it out of fear of losing her job? If so, what does that say about the practices and working conditions of EVA staff? I can't think of any other reason why someone would voluntarily wipe someone's arse.
Apparently her request for leave due to the trauma was granted but would it have been granted if the case hadn't attracted so much publicity?
The guy clearly had issues, either mental health issues or was just a bit twisted and got a kick out of this sort of thing, but I'd say that's a side issue. The main issue for me is why a flight attendant felt it was her job to grant his request and why none of the other flight crew made a stand and stopped her from doing so.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

The EVA cabincrew are probably* culturally better prepared for providing service than some western outfits. Likewise with many Asian crews. Unfortunately, this also leaves them predisposed towards not fighting back when maybe they ought. I’ve seen Thai, Korean, south East Asian, Indian crews especially suffer hugely demeaning and humiliating treatment from all sorts of passengers, east and west, rich and average.
There’s an old joke that passengers check their brains in when they fly. I think many check in their humanity, too.
I was based with an airline in Malaya many years ago. The cabin crew (largely Indian, Bengali and Nepali) used to suffer what can only be described as sexual assault on a daily basis. They didn’t call it that, but a full on grope in the crotch can’t be dismissed as anything else. They’d endure it because their previous flight crews would have dismissed their complaints, or even reprimanded them for doing so. It was only when a European crew member observed it happening that anything was done. Actually, on a separate flight, the same thing was tried on a feisty western girl who turned around and simply smacked him one. Most Asian crew that I’ve met would be unlikely to do that.
Jokingly, on a layover, one of my colleagues addressed two of the younger cabin crew at check in- telling them to report to his room at 8 to press his shirts. They did, much to his own shock and humiliation.
Can you imagine him (the scumbag passenger, subject of this thread) getting away with it on BA or American? I can’t. But some of the lower standards outfits in the west do allow passenger behaviour to go unchecked much further than normal common decency might allow.
*I’ve never flown on EVA, so this is a generalisation!

Shortlist for thread title of the year award.

My recollection is he told the flight attendants he wouldn't leave the bathroom unless they wiped his ass, which then creates an inconvenience for other passengers, a safety issue, etc.xandreu wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 11:33 am

In this case a bum gun would have come in real handy. Just stand back and let her rip.
