America's gallant allies in Syria
It now seems that British special forces are "on the ground" in Syria, as well as in Libya and Yemen (none of this was debated in the Youkay
parliament) but one is unsure who Britain's local allies (permanent or temporary) are. The subject has receded from the front pages.
Here is some news about America's allies in Syria:

The reference to selling hostages / kidnap victims is interesting; decades ago, gangs of freelance Lebanese kidnappers would
grab Westerners - promising or otherwise - and then scout around for a buyer.

Re: America's gallant allies in Syria
So it seems to suggest that the US would take an ex-enemy and use them to it's advantage....
yeah, I don't see it. Doesn't seem like something we'd do.
just sayin'
(cough, cough, hack, hack )
cheers

We know now that MI5 was helping anit Gadafi fighters get to Libya to fight. And the bombers father ran the local Al Qaeda franchise, sponsored by the British taxpayer.
Now the EU had lost patience with the idiot Trump maybe no more foreign wars.

They also have to keep secret whenever a member of these special forces has been killed in combat. It is worse than with intelligence operatives.mammothboy2 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 05, 2016 3:43 amIt now seems that British special forces are "on the ground" in Syria, as well as in Libya and Yemen (none of this was debated in the Youkay parliament) but one is unsure who Britain's local allies (permanent or temporary) are.

I've always thought that ancient proverb to be a bit stupid, to be honest.
Actually, here's a Global Research document saying the same thing: http://www.globalresearch.ca/2400-year- ... cy/5403674

This is hardly up-to-the-minute new news, but some of the Druze on the Golan are (or were) convinced that the IDF is (or was)
aiding the Al Nusra fighters on the Syrian side of the post-1967 border, Al Nusra being (so it is claimed by those supposedly in
the know) an Al Qaida affiliate.

Machiavelli himself would have trouble keeping this straight.

yes, only days into the first Kuwait war, American tv aired 60 enemy fighters dead, with two losses on the US side. Same day coffin number 148 was flown on a 707 freighter to Belgium by our company. Keeping moral, and public support for the war effort is always a priority over facts.
