Is America in decline?

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

I love reading your attempts to apply the backwards authoritarian politics of whatever shithole you emigrated from to the US system. The model doesn't fit.

Also, Putin isn't behaving like a world leader and his anachronistic worldview will be his undoing. I'm not a huge fan of Obama's foreign policy either, but he definitely doesn't need to become more like Putin. Here's a pro-tip: when politicians attempt to appeal to your sense of patriotism / nationalism ("borders, language, and culture"), it is because they have no solutions to your problems. Who cares about poverty and corruption when Mother Russia needs defending against the homosexual western agenda, right?

Edit: broke up one paragraph into two

with military spending equal to the rest of the world it is hardly likely to go into decline for long.

they have a get out of jail free card- endless ones in fact.

is Mr Putin directing the action- or reacting?

appearances are sometimes deceptive.

i'd as lief stone a hornets nest as mess around with them.

I am curious just what about this article do you consider worth pondering?
I wish I knew a whole lot more, or a whole lot less.

The Federal Reserve may be intertwined with the US Treasury/government, but it is still a private bank run by the Banksters. To say the game is stacked is an understatement. How about having a look into Fort Knox and see if the US has any gold left there?

Why would it matter if there is gold in fort knox... it's in no way tied to our currency, so keeping it there seems like it would be a foolish waste of resources. Both in the space it takes up, and the security to monitor something like that. Sell it for real money, put that in a bank, and be done with it.

Though it wouldn't surprise me that our government is that wasteful. What's amusing is how sure you are that it ISN'T there...

nixon closed the gold window.

so google bretton woods.

USA has skillfully manipulated world markets for decades using the reserve currency as a tool.

any pantywaist comsymps should read a little history to see how it is gamed. ( by military force )

start with the three crashes between the USA civil war and the "great" depression then follow through to present day.
the role of war in this narrative is enlightening.

i am an observer btw- not a partisan.
