I once raised cows simular to the type you see in Cambodia. They were a Italian breed called Chianina. Photoes I took of them.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

It's already been mentioned a few times that there are many different varieties of cow and they don't all cost the same price.phuketrichard wrote:gf just brought another Pregnant cow for $600 ( think its like 2 years old)

I don't know where to buy goat meat but it is sold. A restaurant I go to has goat dumplings.Duncan wrote: Now go and look for some goat meat that is for sale. There ain't any. If you have some for sale it will be the only goat meat for sale in Cambodia and you can name your own price you want.

Cambodians don't eat much goat, don't know if it is a good idea to raise goat. I guess many Cambodians prefer eating pork.

Somouth,, I think you will find that the Cham Muslims do not eat pork, however I do know that they eat goat meat. When I see goat meat being sold along side chicken, beef and pork,,, only then will I say it may not be a good idea to raise goats.

I think my knowledge about goat meat in Cambodia is really limited. I have never eaten once. I don't like Indian food.John Bingham wrote:They have Mutton Curry at many Indian restaurants, that's goat meat too.
