I just lost a second post. I have no idea why. Username, I've been living rurally for 16 years and had much experience to pass on. But the technical failings are too frustrating to deal with. Drop me a pm and maybe we can discuss it over a beer. Just tell me where you're currently located and we'll take it from there.

Can't you type it up in Notepad or something, then cut and paste it when ready to post?

I, too, was looking forward to your post. :)

Hi UT, I don't know if it' s the rain or my app
status or what, but no all those hours of failure lead to burnout. Maybe we can all have a profitable session on beer burnout.

I just lost my third post. Sorry all but face to face is the only way. Username please send me a private message with location whereabouts or phone number. Actually, if we could meet as couples my wife's input would be of value too. So we could put you up for the night in a bungalow if you can make it to Kampong Cham vicinity. Also, I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, so I have no idea how long my biographical input about rural life in rural Cambodia will be on tap. Plus even though my Khmer wife has been saddled with a "murican husband" her English is highly fluent.

hehe.
all you need right now for the wp
letter of employment (from your wife should do )
sangkat letter of residency
health check ( waived if use agent )

if you try and do it yourself they will place obstacles in your way in PP.
in the provinces they are not hip abt how to do that obfuscatory stuff, so will require little docs.
The letter of employment - Yes I have seen this done by a Khmer for the western partner.
I followed PSDkiwis advice for the sangkat letter of residency, easy to obtain.
Health check and certificate again easy to obtain. As long has you are breathing.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

I wish I could take you up on that offer. But it would only because I want to meet your wife. She must be quite a lady to put up with a contankerous old basted like you.

come on,, you've got to agree with me on that one.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

She has my full respect for lots of reasons. Being tolerant of me is indeed one of them and sharing many of my dislikes is another. Unlike posters I take issue with here she also sees my equally strong loving side.

In any case the offer was made to username and his wife to be, NOT you.

Taabarang, thank you for your willingness to give us input. I'll hit you up with a PM as soon as I have time.
Also, I hope you'll seek medical attention for your cancer. As you probably know, the survival rate is very high for prostate cancer, as long as you are willing to fight it.
