You need to inoculate them against Newcastle Disease. Cambodia has a virulent strain that decimates village flocks sept-november every year. national average Mortality is 70%!

The thermostable vaccine is administered by eye dropper into the eye and is cheap and easy to use.
You can buy it at agricultural supply stores.

Thanks so much, I didn't know about this. You may have saved my flock's life! Do you happen to know what the disease or vaccine is called in Khmer?

Thanks! My older ducks are 7 weeks old, is it too late to vaccinate them? I want them to live long, healthy lives. Image

They sell vitamins too- yes, really.
For poultry production- not for pet birds, still worthwhile.

I was raised on a poultry farm and I have vaccintated thousands of birds, it is critical in cambodia. I have some info on a flashdrive about raising poultry, I will look for it.
