Yingluck verdict today POSTPONED she did a runner

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

The reason she probably did a runner is because her Minister got a 42 year sentence!
42 fucking years for fraud (or at least fraud according to the military junta)
meanwhile the red Bull heir cop killer hasn't even been to court yet after how many years?
What a totally screwed up country it has become

Rumour. Yingluck may have left Thailand via Cambodia ?

Prawit rejects rumour of military helping Yingluck ‘flee’
Breaking News August 25, 2017 13:21
Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan spurned speculation on Friday that the military helped or allowed former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra to leave the country.

Prawit said government security agencies had been monitoring both Yingluck’s movements and the national borders.
Officials watching Yingluck’s residence have not seen her leave home in two days, he said, while admitting that she could have evaded their notice by using any of several departure routes out of Thailand.

Prawit said there was no clear indication as to which route she might use. He had heard unconfirmed reports that she entered Cambodia via Koh Chang, but he had nothing else to add since he’d been busy attending meetings...

yea but the rumors state she left weds.... 2 days before he was sentenced,
and even so, she was due to show up at 9 am
she knew she would lose so whats a $900,000 bond to to write off when ur brother is worth many many millions.

My take , they know she left, ( she has been under surveillance for long time) and its the easiest for the government
"see she fled, so she is guilty"
No problems with the red shirts as a verdict is never handed down for them to protest about. PLUS new court date set for Sept 27th,
BUT as that's just 1 month before the funeral, expect that to be delayed as well.

getting into Cambodia is as easy as crossing the street even if ur not rich
and if u think Cambodia would / will admit it, think again ... Mr Bog boss in Cambodia is close friends with her brother
koh chang- PP airport-Singapore-Dubai.... home free :beer3:

yep;
shes gone;
Former Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra has fled Thailand for Singapore
Former PM Yingluck Shinawatra has already fled Thailand and is in Singapore, Khaosod English reports.
Citing a “very confidential report” Khaosod said that Ms Yingluck has is currently in Singapore.
That's got to be for a connecting flight to somewhere else. Would Singapore harbor a fugitive?

Or, is this a red herring to throw off the authorities?

Maybe she's gonna jump on a speedboat and cruise to a remote island?

They did a very good job. I hope they get medals for their diligence.

some more..... she's in the wind for sure.

Yingluck Shinawatra, ex-Thai PM, has fled to Dubai -- source

Senior Police Official General Sriwara Rangsibhramakul told CNN that there was no official record of Yingluck leaving the country, which would suggest she slipped into a neighboring country first by crossing over a land border.
Asked if it was possible she fled via a natural land border, Rangsibhramakul would only say: "That is possible."

Just sayin'

No sightings ?
Source: Former Thai PM Yingluck Has Fled Country Through Cambodia
25 August 2017
Thailand’s former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra fled the country through Cambodia, sources said on Friday, as the Supreme Court issued an arrest warrant after her failure to appear to hear a verdict in a case that could have sent her to prison for 10 years.

A source close to an aide of Yingluck told BenarNews, an RFA-affiliated online news service, that she traveled through Trat province, about 320 km (200 miles) south of the capital Bangkok, before crossing into Cambodia to board a plane that took her to another country a few days ago.

“Her aide assisted and they went to Cambodia and assisted her flying from there,” said the source who asked not to be identified and declined to name her final destination...
