When To Book Flights To Thailand?
When To Book Flights To Thailand?
I am planning on a trip to Thailand and beyond for a little break from my busy work schedule. Would it be too soon to book flight tickets for Nov/Dec 2020? Do you expect COVID19 situation will be much better by then and there will be plenty of things to do and places to visit, including popular bars, hotels, and restaurants? Is anyone having similar plans for 2020 or they would wait until 2021?

Nov/Dec 2020 should be about right. Can’t see it all banned longer than that.

Zero readon to? Well, Nov is quite a while from now. I heard in the news today that C19 will infect up to 60% of the global population before the heard immunity will overcome it.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 9:55 pm Current ban in effect thru end of may

Why buy the ticket now and spend you money with the risk of ending up with a coupon when there's months left to evaluate the situation and decide in the future?MikeD wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 10:17 amZero readon to? Prices may go up if i wait til June or July. Right now I can book for mid/late Dec for cheap and the dates can be changed without fees.Kammekor wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 10:21 amWhy buy the ticket now and spend you money with the risk of ending up with a coupon when there's months left to evaluate the situation and decide in the future?MikeD wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 10:17 amZero readon to? Really hard to say considering this has been changing on a daily basis... I'm not expecting international travel to stabilize until next year.

In that case, book. The airline will be eager to receive your cash.MikeD wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 11:20 amPrices may go up if i wait til June or July. About the change of dates.... Looks fancy, but pretty useless under current conditions.
One more thing to consider, in December there will be less airlines than there are airlines offering flights now.
