Westerner may face 7 years in prison for yanking open aircraft door.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

There are tales I could tell, and they would be just the tip of the iceberg.
Out with them then freight. :thumb:

It's a slow holiday and this thread is dying a death.

Must be quite a sight to see those poor 55 kg cabin crew in their tight skirts manhandling a crazy barang in such a confined space.
Yeah - normally people would pay good money for that experience...

If there is a documentary reenactment we can volunteer to be the guys in the seats nearest the action.

He’s not wrong.

@Mishmash
I could, but then I’d have little for my memoirs. Nobody would believe half the stories, anyway. I certainly wouldn’t without the first hand knowledge.

But here’s one of many.

Rangers and Celtic supporters. Sort of the India vs Pakistan of football rivalry, sans wmd.

When we were told that both groups would be travelling on our flight, we instructed the handlers to ensure they were segregated (denying boarding had been declined). Some joker, rather than separating them front to back, split them left and right; ABC seats for one group, DEF seats the other, but adjacent each other. Close on a hundred drunk weegies to be controlled by 4 more than capable lasses. Some of those crew are not to be messed with.

I have always felt that there should be an intelligence test before you get on a plane, say if you don t know how the seatbelt works you don t get to fly

And anyone that thinks it's ok to throw coins into the plane's engines gets their head stoved in with their own carry on luggage
If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

People who also don't understand window seat gets window view and left arm rest, centre seat gets his/her left and right arm rest, aisle seat gets right arm rest and extra leg room on one leg, should also be set upon and subjected to violence.
