Yeah - normally people would pay good money for that experience...Duncan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 3:25 pmMishmash wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 2:50 pmOut with them then freight.Freightdog wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 2:30 pm It doesn’t happen because accountants want maximum revenue, and stopping one customer may mean the loss of more dross. They just leave it to the poor cabin crew to deal with.
There are tales I could tell, and they would be just the tip of the iceberg.
It's a slow holiday and this thread is dying a death.
Must be quite a sight to see those poor 55 kg cabin crew in their tight skirts manhandling a crazy barang in such a confined space.
If there is a documentary reenactment we can volunteer to be the guys in the seats nearest the action.

He’s not wrong.Kung-fu Hillbilly wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 3:32 pm His punishment should be to serve self-entitled Indian passengers for six months. Far worse than seven in the nick.
@Mishmash
I could, but then I’d have little for my memoirs. Nobody would believe half the stories, anyway. I certainly wouldn’t without the first hand knowledge.
But here’s one of many.
Rangers and Celtic supporters. Sort of the India vs Pakistan of football rivalry, sans wmd.
When we were told that both groups would be travelling on our flight, we instructed the handlers to ensure they were segregated (denying boarding had been declined). Some joker, rather than separating them front to back, split them left and right; ABC seats for one group, DEF seats the other, but adjacent each other. Close on a hundred drunk weegies to be controlled by 4 more than capable lasses. Some of those crew are not to be messed with.

People who also don't understand window seat gets window view and left arm rest, centre seat gets his/her left and right arm rest, aisle seat gets right arm rest and extra leg room on one leg, should also be set upon and subjected to violence.Captain Bonez wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 6:37 pmAnd anyone that thinks it's ok to throw coins into the plane's engines gets their head stoved in with their own carry on luggageAnthony's Weiner wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 5:24 pm
