Thinking of working in THailand

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Maybe because the bloody bogans can't be arsed to do low-paid jobs like that? Why don't you apply?

I write CVs for a living, mainly for people wanting to work in Australia and NZ.

It's not as easy to get a job as people think - it's such a competitive market out there. Even for non-skilled jobs, people are getting professional CVs written to improve their chances of securing an interview.

I've been getting a lot more CVs from Indians lately - funnily enough- a lot have call center experience and want a job in Australia.

I have to break it to then that if they want call center work, they are probably better off where they are, the jobs are moving to them ;)

I think your right but you would have to admit even a few months work in OZ ,even if it was voluntary or studying, would look good on a Indians CV and help with advancement in jobs in their own country.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Difficult to work legally in Thailand. Easy to pay your money and be a legal alien.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
