Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info
Re: Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info
sure, it's complete nonsense, no way would it make a difference say if someone behind you or in next row sneezed with Covid - you'd still likely get it due to the enclosed space overall. This is mere window dressing. Just don't fly if you don't want to but take the risk if you do want to - and let the world get on with it. No more nanny state please!

"Buriram, one of Thailand’s major provinces in the lower northeastern region know as Issan, will soon require residents to carry a “healthy sticker” whenever they go outside. The provincial governor made the announcement yesterday and said the measure will come into effect on May 1. The sticker, to be attached to residents’ ID cards, will be required as a proof of health before entering shops, markets and public venues."

Ran dry a couple of days ago after getting a thirst on and breaking my daily ration, only 4 more days to go hopefully. Surely if nothing else they'll at least start selling in supermarkets again. The bars will most likely be closed for another month so I'll make sure I get a decent sized order in this timeyong wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 4:34 pmWent to replenish just in case . . . . .Cowshed Cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 12:24 pmSorry Yong, you're gojng to have to suffer like the rest of us, 30th it is bro
Pity beer wasn't like oil and due to storage capacity being full the breweries were paying us to take it off their hands.

looks like thailand will remain closed for another month although some restrictions might be loosened up the 1st
IMPORTANT: CAAT has just announced the extension of the ban on allowing international passengers to fly to #Thailand for one more month until 31st May 2020. Exceptions include, state or military aircraft, emergency landing, humanitarian aid, medical & relief flights, repatriation & cargo aircraft.
This means, foreigners with work permits or married to Thais, or just general people, cannot come to Thailand until at least June now
Curfew to remain in Place
No word yet about Alcohol sales

The government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration reportedly resolved today that the state of emergency should be extended for another month after it was to expire on April 30. The resolution is in line with recommendations from national security officials and the Public Health Ministry.
The government clamped the state of emergency on March 26 until April 30 and imposed a 10pm to 4am curfew on April 3.

I so was looking forward to going to the gym again.
No logic to this, the only possible reason for this soviet lock-down is the aliens are coming to invade. Just that they're a little late, see they were supposed have been here by now but interstellar travel is, you know with the warping of time and all that, a little hard to be precise with exact earth dates. I knew something was amiss when the Pattaya Space Guard otherwise known as D.R.A.T. was videoed with their sky surveillance drones, see video at about the the 1:15 mark > ( a couple days ago.
Ah, but I'm just a guest in this 2nd world loony land with no rights and very few privileges. If Cambodia re-opens the gyms and their border someone notify me and if I'm not already an alien snack maybe I'll take a ride.

Like B4, parking in KlongYai, walking over thai-cambo-border, moto to Ko Kong and further PNH by taxi. Thai license plate cant go further than Ko Kong!Cowshed Cowboy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:39 pm I'm not bothered about food on a flight but you are supposed to keep hydrated so going without even a glass of water for say 1 hour for a domestic Thai flight seems over the top. If the cabin staff are wearing gloves is it really a big deal to give you a plastic bottle or sealed cup?
With the existing hassle of stringent security checks before you board now combined with these proposals, flying domestically really doesn't appeal regardless of the cost. I think I'll drive!!!
Takes 3 times longer than taking plane BKK-PNH., and is a little bit more expensive.
Lazy bastard me want to move to Cambo from Thai already 10 years, BUT TOO LAZY.
Today I regret that, because of bad timing my Khmer g/f and I cannot see each other., I was one day too late to move my ass.
This will take another 4 or 6 months! Via Klong Yai/ Haad Lek by car is aan earlier option than by plane, I think!
