Phuket beaches, a pictorial

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Was in Phuket for the first time in 1985. Still the closest to paradise of any place I've visited especially Nai Harn.

I went back again in 2000 and won't return there again. Still a place with beautiful beaches but way too overpopulated for my liking.

Who goes to beaches regularly here anyway? You'll just end up with melanoma. 8)

Sit on a beach, get melanoma. Sit in a bar, get a bad liver and lung cancer from passive smoking. Sit in your living room, get obese watching TV and eating junk food all day.

Life is out to kill us.

I went to Koh Samui in the early 90s. Looked on streetview and I was like WTF?

It's like what happened in Sihanoukville but took 20 years not 2.
