One way to avoid having to deal with thai taxi drivers

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

One way to avoid having to deal with thai taxi drivers

Post by phuketrichard »

Huai Yot police in Trang, southern Thailand, were contacted by their counterparts in Nuea Klong, Krabi after a foreigner stole a taxi from Krabi International Airport.
He took off along Petchkasem Road in the yellow and blue cab with Krabi plates.

He stopped to buy a soda at a roadside grocer's in Ban Khao Kop.
On seeing the police the 180-190 cm tall man - called a 'big farang by the media - ran into the female grocer's toilet and refused to come out.

He was persuaded to give himself up as local police prepared to send him back to Krabi to face the music.

Trang police said he is a Norwegian.
