Scottish Man beaten-up in Soi LK Metro in Central Pattaya
Posted on September 16, 2014 at 4:20 am
Over the weekend a 40 year old Scottish Man sustained head injuries after he was set-upon by two Thai men, following an argument between his friend and his Girlfriend, who was reportedly angry that the man took the side of his friend over his girlfriend.
Khun Sutadra aged 23 and her Boyfriend, Mr. Stuart Page aged 40 and his friend Mr. Donald Banks aged 36 had been drinking together for some time. Late into the night an altercation occurred between the woman and the friend of her boyfriend. It was alleged that Mr. Banks was becoming overly aggressive towards her, while Mr. Page refused to intervene and assist Khun Sutadra who feared for her safety.
Khun Sutadra allegedly called two Thai friends, Khun Nitisart aged 26 and Khun Supagorn aged 41, who arrived armed with knives. They then reportedly assaulted Mr. Page after Khun Sutadra informed them that he refused to protect her during the altercation. Mr. Banks was not assaulted.
The incident was partially captured on CCTV and based on that evidence arrest warrants for the two suspected attackers have now been issued. Mr. Page was sent to Hospital suffering from a head wound and other minor upper-body injuries.

Und der Haifisch der hat Tränen
Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht
In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

Totally irresponsible. Cavorting with young wenches, when they should be back home, voting no!
Anyone know what bar they were in? There's a Scottish owned bar in the soi, but it hopefully wasn't it, as I know the owner.

It was outside the Billabong.
Forget that. That was a two year old attack in LK metro that I had googled.

UPDATE:
Two suspected attackers of Scottish Man in Central Pattaya report to Police
Posted on September 18, 2014 at 4:11 am
In the early hours of Wednesday the two men, wanted in connection with the attack on a Scottish Man in Soi LK Metro in Central Pattaya, gave themselves up to Police and denied reports by a selection of Thai media outlets that they stole items from the man following the attack.
The attack took place last weekend and led to Mr. Stuart Page aged 40 sustaining a serious head wound and other minor upper-body injuries. The two suspects, Khun Nitisart aged 26 and Khun Supagorn aged 41, reported to Pattaya Police Station where they were charged with assault.
During interviews the men claimed they were friends with the girlfriend of Mr. Page and were called by her after she became angry that her boyfriend was not protecting her during an altercation with his friend, Mr. Donald Banks aged 36.
The two men were released on Police Bail pending Court proceedings and confirmed their denial of allegations made by some local media outlets that they stole items from Mr. Page after the attack.
